Police release name of S.W. murder victim

Police have released the name of the city's 28th murder victim of the year.
Nader "Nick" Nilianbousheri, 32, was found suffering gunshot wounds in the 3900 block of 16 St. S.W. just before 6 a.m. on Tuesday and later died in hospital.
Insp. Luch Berti said cops have uncovered little information about Nilianbousheri, other than that he immigrated to Canada from Iran in 1999, was a resident of the home where he was shot and is known to police. Cops have been unable to locate Nilianbousheri's next-of-kin.
"We'd certainly like to know a little more about this individual," said Berti.
"We know a little bit but family can generally fill in a lot of the other blanks that we need to investigate and look at."
