THE HAGUE, May 16, 2006 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) – Controversial Dutch parliamentarian Ayaan Hirsi Ali, infamous for her odious attacks on Islam, will leave the Netherlands for the US after admitting she lied to win asylum back in 1992, a Dutch daily reported Monday, May 15.
Hirsi Ali, of Somali origin, is expected to take up a job with the Washington-based right-wing think tank the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), De Volkskrant said on its online edition.
"Ayaan Hirsi Ali will take up her post on September 1 with the AEI, a conservative pressure group in the United States," Agence France-Presse (AFP) quoted the paper as saying.
Hirsi Ali had reached a deal with the US authorities about her safety, according to the paper.
Many members of the AEI, founded in 1943, serve or have served in US President George W. Bush's administration
