The Persians and A Few Dispute-Related Matters
Hazem Saghieh - It is justifiable for the Gulf people, the Iraqis, the Lebanese and the Palestinians to be afraid of Iran and its policy, and to warn against the ideology and ambitions of Iran's leaders. But what is unjustifiable, though understandable, is the prevalence of terms such as ‘Persians’, ‘Safavis’, ‘Magus’ and the like, reflecting a primitive discrimination against Iran.
